Echo SonoSoft electronic health record software is very similar to Vascular SonoSoft.

Instead of an Echo sonographer handing the reading physician a hand written report for dictation, the sonographer enters his or her results onto a simple computer form, complete with drop down boxes and edit friendly fields. All the drop downs are pre-populated with a variety of findings, yet can be modified 'on-the-fly' as needed.

Data entry is simplified with separate tabs for wall motion findings, all of the chambers and septum, EKG and exercise, Doppler and M-mode measurements, anomalies and detailed drop downs for each valve. One of the most popular features is the method we use to create the conclusion. Once the findings are entered, simply 'double-click' on any statement and it is immediately sent to the conclusion of the report. A separate tab is available for a preview before creating the report. Fast and easy!

Next, at the click of a mouse, a beautifully detailed one-page or two-page comprehensive report is produced which emulates a physician's dictated report. The reading physician reads the study and either edits the report or 'finalizes' it through the "secure physician sign-off" option. This allows the physician to automatically create a report in a PDF format which is electronically signed and dated.
