Vascular SonoSoft

Vascular SonoSoft was the first SonoSoft product developed. Developed in 2002, it was used extensively by vascular surgeons and vascular labs primarily in Florida. Constantly being refined and improved, Vascular SonoSoft proved to be one of the fastest, easiest and most affordable systems available today.

Vascular SonoSoft works very simply. Instead of a registered vascular technologist handing the reading physician a hand written report for dictation, the sonographer enters his or her results onto a simple computer form, complete with drop down boxes and edit friendly fields. Calculations are made for such reports as Carotid Duplex ratios and resistance indexes for Renal Artery Reports as well as the Renal-Aortic ratios.

Next, at the click of a mouse, a beautifully detailed report is produced which emulates a physician's dictated report. The reading physician reads the study and either edits the vascular report or signs it. Also available is the "secure physician sign-off" option. This allows the physician to "finalize" the report. This automatically creates a report in a PDF format which is electronically signed and dated.

Echo SonoSoft electronic health record software is very similar to Vascular SonoSoft.

Instead of an Echo sonographer handing the reading physician a hand written report for dictation, the sonographer enters his or her results onto a simple computer form, complete with drop down boxes and edit friendly fields. All the drop downs are pre-populated with a variety of findings, yet can be modified 'on-the-fly' as needed.

Data entry is simplified with separate tabs for wall motion findings, all of the chambers and septum, EKG and exercise, Doppler and M-mode measurements, anomalies and detailed drop downs for each valve. One of the most popular features is the method we use to create the conclusion. Once the findings are entered, simply 'double-click' on any statement and it is immediately sent to the conclusion of the report. A separate tab is available for a preview before creating the report. Fast and easy!

NucMed SonoSoft electronic health record software is our most recent development. The NucMed SonoSoft automated report writing system is used for Nuclear Cardiac Stress testing.
